koboldtopia is a small minecraft server.

our aims are to have fun exploring, adventuring and building - together, for enjoyment of collaboration; and individually, for the pleasure of surprising and delighting others.

we will fill our world with mysteries, secrets and wonders.

why kobolds?

because kobolds love to dig. minecraft is a game about digging (among other things). it makes sense.

server guidelines

the golden rule - play nice and have fun.
build a world - try to build things to look like they're meant to be there, or even like they've been there for a long time already. try to tell a story with the things you build.
consider the setting - try to build things that make sense in the context of the world. villages, castles, farms and mines have a reason to be there; gravity-defying skybridges and enormous pixel-art displays do not.
spread out - try not to build within view of another player's constructions; this avoids competition for resources and preserves their view.
